About me...
Lisa Beals, MS OTR CSCS earned her Bachelors degree and Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from Purdue University and her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. She has extensive experience in adult rehabilitation, including orthopedic outpatient, work hardening / functional capacity evaluations, inpatient rehabilitation, long term care, acute care / tracheostomies and ventilators, geriatrics, and home health. She is skilled in the use of electrical stimulation, laser therapy, diathermy, ultrasound and kinesiotaping. She is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
As a dog lover and former owner of Camp Bow Wow, a nationally known doggie daycare, Lisa became interested in the field of canine wellness, rehab and exercise physiology. She supplemented her education with courses from the University of Tennessee Canine Rehab program, the Canine Rehab Institute, Pet Massage LTD, and the Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute.
