Who is Norman Pagenaud?

Who is Norman Pagenaud? 

Fans of the IndyCar series know Norman as the handsome brown and white rat terrier and fur son of  IndyCar driver and Frenchman Simon Pagenaud.

Whatever track Simon travels to on the circuit, you can be sure Norman is nearby providing moral support and technical guidance..  It’s not all work though for Norman.  When he is not working, Norman enjoys swimming, chasing tennis balls, riding a skateboard while sporting his personalized neon yellow Julius K9 harness. Although Norman can’t reach the car pedals, he often sits on Simon’s lap with his front paws on the wheel co-piloting Simon’s car off track.  

Norman rose to fame in 2019 , when his dad Simon won the Indy 500,  known as the Greatest Spectacle in Racing. Simon was front and center in the Winner’s Circle and sitting on the racecar in all of the official winner’s photos..  While Simon had his likeness added to the coveted Borg-Warner trophy celebrating his 2019 win , Norman was honored to be the ONLY dog EVER to have his likeness added next to Simon on the “Baby Borg, “ the mini replica of the Borg-Warner presented to the Indy 500 champion.

And just in case you were wondering, yes, Norman served as the ring-bearer for Simon and mom Hailey’s wedding, strutting down the aisle all decked out in his matching tux.  Norman now shares his home with his dad Simon, mom Hailey and baby brother Marley No doubt , Norman will be the ultimate big brother to Marley.
